Restoring your car can take a long time – up to three years. The term “frame off restoration” typically means that you your car is totally disassembled to the bare frame and all parts are restored or replaced and painted or powdered coated before reinstalled.

Restoration of your car is also a long term commitment. It is very expensive and we recommend that you consider the project very seriously. To enjoy this type of project you have to have an understanding of how cars are built. If you are a novice you may become less focused over time on the project and become overpowered by the total expense.

Most of our customers that decide to restore their car usually have a long history with their car. They may have owned it since it was new, or owned it for many years or even it has been in the family for a long time. Regardless there is a strong emotional and passion for the car.

We require that you sign a document that describes how we will partner together. A deposit is required and we will collect additional payments as the project moves forward. Typically the cost is higher than the estimate because it is not possible to anticipate everything that will be needed, replaced or repaired. Also there may be additional options identified and wanted to add to the project.
